It is in a superb location less than a mile from the centre of Llanrwst with access to all parts of the Snowdonia National Park. Next door is a school / leisure centre with a climbing wall. The town of Llanrwst has an indoor swimming pool and a good range of shops, pubs and hotels
Cae Groes is a converted 19th century farmhouse with five bedrooms with bunk beds and three adjacent buildings housing four self-contained mini-apartments suitable for family accommodation, a shower block including toilets and a heated drying room and a ‘Barn’ with table tennis table and ample storage for bikes. The properties are surrounded by a large grassed garden and a private car park.

Raven Crag occupies a wonderful position in the beautiful Great Langdale Valley in The Lake District. It is nestled in front of the buttress of Raven Crag just eight miles from Ambleside. The cottage is ideally placed for the enjoyment of the area with excellent walking and climbing from its doorstep.
Built in the style of a typical Lake District cottage, Raven Crag has considerable character. White rough-cast stone walls are topped with a slate roof. Internally, exposed beams, timber panelling and an open fire add to its appeal. It has four bedrooms with bunk beds, fully fitted kitchen, male and female toilets, unisex showers and a drying room. The cottage is surrounded by garden with a terrace to the front offering views across the valley.

Cae Groes
Cae Groes is a converted 19th century farmhouse with a range of other buildings:
– The main farmhouse has ground floor dining room/kitchen, a lounge with wood-burnng stove and 32 beds in five rooms, three of which contain bunk beds and two providing alpine style shelves. There are two uni-sex showers, toilets and wash facilities on the first floor
– In an adjacent building there are four self-contained mini-apartments suitable for family accommodation. Each have their own lounge, kitchen/diner and toilet and can each sleep five people
– The shower block has separate mens/womens showers, toilets and a large heated drying room
– There is also a locked ‘Barn’ with a table tennis table and ample storage for bikes.
The house, apartments and shower block are centrally heated. There is ample private car parking and a large grassed garden.
Raven Crag
Raven Crag is situated near the head of the Great Langdale valley in the heart of the Lake District fells. It is in a superb location for walking, climbing and cycling, all of which can be accessed from the doorstep. There are several cafes and pubs in the valley as well as a village store in Chapel Stile. Further afield, a wider range of services are available in Ambleside and Coniston.
Raven Crag is built in the style of a typical Lakeland house and provides a ground floor kitchen/diner and a lounge with fireplace. The house is centrally heated and has 24 bunk bed spaces in four rooms upstairs. There are four unisex showers and a drying room. The property is surrounded by a stone wall which encloses a patio area and small lawn. Car parking is available for three cars on the single track outside the house and additional parking is available below in the National Trust car park next to the
Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel.
